DESCRIPTION:

The updated version V5.1SP3 of the Start-up Tool DriveMonitor for the SIMOVERT MASTERDRIVES, MICROMASTER 3, MICROMASTER 4 and SIMOREG drive families is provided here.

Release V5.1SP3 ( V5.1.3.2 , R_051306) replaces all of the previous releases - 5.1 and V5.1SP2 and can be installed, both as stand-alone as well as an update to Drive ES Basic, from V5.1 SP2.

The download is approx. 200 Mbyte.

DriveMonitor V5.1 SP3 supports the following drives and actual firmware versions:

Using this PC Tool, all of the specified drive units can be parameterized with the USS protocol via a point-to-point coupling (RS232) or as bus with up to 31 nodes ( RS485 ).

Download the appropriate ZIP file, unzip and then start the SETUP.EXE program.

The download contains all of the drive unit set-up files required for the drive families, which are supported.

This means that this download can also be used as update for new FW versions of existing drives in Drive ES Basic from version V5.1 SP1. If you use this set-up as update to Drive ES Basic, then you should install this version over your existing Drive ES Basic component and only response to all prompts during set-up with OK or CONTINUE. In these cases, NEVER change any of the default entries. The Set-up program automatically controls these.
